Brainiac 5 (Arrowverse)

Brainiac 5 wears personality inhibitors, which leave him not fully coordinated with the Big Brain (the Coluan network of minds). When Brainy was 8 years old, he had his first experience of snow on a family vacation. His mother bottled the whole planet for him, a moral offense for Coluans. Brainy's father, horrified, freed the planet. When Brainy reacted with anger, his father feared that he could become like his mother, so he fitted the boy with three personality inhibitors to keep his dark side at bay.
