Oh come on, you name your kid Arma Getten, and you're amazed he turns out to be a supervillain bent on destruction?

The Legion's goodbye ceremony for the newly-married Lightning Lad and Saturn Girl was int4errupted by a teleporting Arma Getten, who grabbed R. J. Brande and encased Brande and himself within an unstable energy shield created by a force-bindng weapon. He claimed that Brande's company was responsible for his father's bankruptcy and ransomed Brande's life for three items that together, powered a world-detroying machine, which the Legionnaires transmogrified into a star-creating machine for the Graxls. Getten was killed when his weapon malfunctioned, atomizing him.
