- First appearance of Animal Lad, Golden Boy, The Polecat, and Tusker.
- All of the above applied for membership and were rejected.
- Dynamo Boy had expelled all the other Legionnaires, but since he joined under false pretenses none of the expulsions were official.
- Similarly, Cosmic Kind, Lightning Lord, and Saturn Queen "joined" the Legion, but not officially.
