Get-a-Life Boy says

Keith Giffen once again makes the Legion the butt of the joke. I suppose this is DC's annual "use the Legion in a story or risk losing the trademark" exercise.

Still, it's nice to see the crew again, And especially nice to see all-growed-up Spike, who's absolutely adorable. (Incidentally, this isn't the first time Sugar & Spike have been seen with the Legion. They were among potential Legion candidates on the cover of Legionnaires 43.)

The Adventure 247 Saturn Girl states that she and the two boys came from the year 3012.

Shrinking Violet mentions that they arrested Starfinger "last week." Given the costume she's wearing, she must be referring to the events of Superboy 200.

Chronicler's Error?

  • Rond Vidar's Time Cube didn't move back in time itself, as depicted here. It projected its occupant through time, while remaining in its own time period.
