Places

• Citadel in deep space

Bits of Legionnaire Business

  • The Time Trapper prevents Superman from traveling back in time. This is presumably the same mechanism as the "Iron Curtain of Time" that once kept the Legion from traveling into the future.

Get-a-Life Boy says

Superman uses a defective time-bubble to travel into the future, where the Time Trapper strands him.

Chronicler's Error?

  • The President tells Superman not to fly into the past or future for 24 hours. When an emergency summons arrives from the future, Supes jumps into a defective time bubble (which the Legion "scrapped" on a visit to the 20th century) and uses it to travel forward, presumably without disturbing the space-time continuum. Why didn't he wait 24 hours and then head off to the same time-coordinates under his own power?
  • On page 9 Superman says that the energy creature "consumed only currency that was red, yellow, or orange." Yet on the previous page, the creature is clearly devouring a stack of blue coins.
