Ordes

L4 Settlement, Terra

One of many settlements in Earth's Lagrangian points. L4 was notable for its adult entertainment facilities. "The fleshpots of L4" was a common expression.

Terexta Trojan Two

A cluster of settlements in the trailing Trojan point of the planet Terexta, constructed by Archetalin Enterprises c. 6483-6488.

Nyame Station

A space station in orbit around Luna, primary embarkation and debarkation point for Earth-Luna shuttles. Territorially, Nyame Station is part of Armstrong City.

Floating Cities of Odin

The Floating Cities Project, begun in TE 19, established a dozen or so large antigrav-supported cities in the atmosphere of the super-Jovian planet Odin.

Kaa Station

A large, complex station in Clarke orbit above the major population center of Kaa. Headquarters of the Kaa Cartel, Kaa Station oversees Human interaction with the native Kaanese, both on Kaa and throughout the Empire.

Viracocha Station

One of seven major Stations in low orbit around Terra. These Stations declined in utility and population after fusion drive propulsion became commonplace in the 2050s CE, and were dealt a death blow by antigrav propulsion in the 2080s CE.

Sumeru and Viracocha, plainly technological siblings, are multi-spoked variations on the wheel.

T'ien Hsien Station

One of seven major Stations in low orbit around Terra. These Stations declined in utility and population after fusion drive propulsion became commonplace in the 2050s CE, and were dealt a death blow by antigrav propulsion in the 2080s CE.

T'ien Hsien looms like the skyline of some great city, Hong Kong or Singapore adrift among the stars.

Sumeru Station

One of seven major Stations in low orbit around Terra. These Stations declined in utility and population after fusion drive propulsion became commonplace in the 2050s CE, and were dealt a death blow by antigrav propulsion in the 2080s CE.

Sumeru and Viracocha, plainly technological siblings, are multi-spoked variations on the wheel.

Novy Mir Station

One of seven major Stations in low orbit around Terra. These Stations declined in utility and population after fusion drive propulsion became commonplace in the 2050s CE, and were dealt a death blow by antigrav propulsion in the 2080s CE.

Novy Mir has the perpetually-unfinished, girders-and-solar-panels look of the late 20th century, fuel tanks and spinnign habitat modules sticking out in every direction, plainly of a piece with Soyuz and the Apollo lander.
