Dorascan Empire
The Dorascan Empire extended roughly from present-day Elendan/Kellia/Frit to Vetret, with tributary states extending as far as Tethys and into Credixian areas.

The prime development of Dorascan re-evolution was the back fin or spine, originally developed to shield the individual from Dorasc's large predatory gliding animals. As the fin developed further, a change in sexual position came about—the male Dorascan began standing up for rear-mounting. Now, the young moved further back and finally perched atop momma or poppa's buttocks—providing a prime attraction for predators. At this point, the spine became a weapon, the Dorascan developed a convulsive strike reflex which gored any attacker—and the babies migrated further, to land in the pouch.
Dorasc was an Avethellan colony world. Natives were de-evolved by the introduction of many large predatory species.
To a Dorascan, a brief lowering of the nictitating membranes is the equivalent of a Human shrug.
