Standard Uniform:
- Tunic: Jet black, with collar and seal down the front. Above the left breast is the Six Globes, while rank insignias are worn on the right shoulder. Epaulets on both shoulders. A sky blue stripe about 1 cm in width runs up the left side of the tunic to the neck.
- Trousers: Straight-legged and uncreased. Jet black with sky blue stripe about 1 cm in width running up the left side of the left leg. Pockets are numerous and sealed with flaps.
- Boots: Black pseudoleather, featureless and perma-shined.
- Belt: Black pseudoleather reinforced with monofilament inlays. On one side is a matching holster for sidearm. A black power pack is mounted immediately in front of the holster, to provide power to sidearm, comm, and defense screen. On the other side is the black-box generator for a low-power K1 defense screen that can be activated for use in battle.
- Cap: Jet black with Six Globes insignia.
- Comm and networking are built into the fabric of the uniform, and provide feedback by neural induction. Under impact, the fabric stiffens and plumps to provide some protection and absorb force.
- The uniform is rated as an emergency pressure suit; an airtight pressure hood can be deployed from the collar and simple rebreather gear provides up to an hour of survival in vacuum or noncorrosive atmosphere.
- Battle-dress helmet is silvered for reflection of lasers (the K1 screen is particularly weak around head and feet, furthest from the generator).
Dress Uniform:
As above, except the jet-black fabric is overlaid with an animated starfield unique to each service member.
Marine Uniform:
As above, but midnight blue instead of black.
