Fort Shepard

Fort Shepard, Rocky Mountain Region, houses the headquarters of the United States Space Force. It is also the home of the U.S. Army's 18th Division, the "Matlovich Division." Fort Shepard includes a Spaceport as well as a Personnel Processing Center that oversees immigrants arriving from the Confederacy of Christian States. The Fort covers about 3,000 hectares and lies outside the town of Laramie.

The Fort, founded in 2024, was named after civil rights activist Matthew Shepard (1976-1988). The Fort was built on the site of Shepard's crucifixion by militant Christians. In 2026, the U.S. Army stopped the advancing Army of God at Fort Shepard, thus defining the northwest limit of the Christian Confederacy.

The Fort Shepard Spaceport, completed in 2036, carries nearly 90% of United States military traffic to and from Low Earth Orbit.
