Very large (elephant-size or larger). Live in mountainous regions and arctic tundra, sometimes used as beasts of burden by Coruma.

Life cycle:
A Hchevidiire "individual" is actually a trio of immature forms, which dissociate after about a year. At about 20 years, three unrelated immature forms join together to form one organism. After about five years of maturity, the triple-organism breeds with another. They separate, and after about a year, each gives birth to another trio.
