Highlights:

Today Thomas and I celebrate the 19th anniversary of our Vermont Civil Union. On 14 February 2001 we stood before a Justice of the Peace in Burlington, Vermont for the first official recognition of our marriage (by then we'd been living together for 14 years). Our friends Lisa A. Barnett and Melissa Scott were also united in Civil Union. Our nephew Mike Atkinson was our ringbearer, and our sister-in-law (and Mike's mother) Nancy Dick-Atkinson was there to cheer us on.

In celebration of this Valentine's Day, check out the promotion for Act Well Your Part: From Thursday (13 Feb) through Tuesday (18 Feb), the Kindle ebook will be on sale for 99¢. Act Well Your Part is a gay teen romance first published in 1985, a classic boy-meets-boy story against the background of a high school drama department.

There's also a new paperback edition of Act Well Your Part, for the same price ($14.99). You can purchase it here.

Projects:
  • Amazon paperback edition of Act Well Your Part. I'm in the process moving my print books from Lightning Source to Amazon—in a number of ways it's a better deal. In the process, I'm adjusting some covers and making minor copyedits. My goal is to do six titles this year; if it goes quicker, I may change that goal.
  • More progress on my Scattered Worlds website—mostly tiny details that need updating.
