At the time of their discovery in 2095 CE, the surviving Heloxans were living on Helox's sister world Kargesh; at this time, they numbered about 3,000. By TE 200 the Heloxans were recognized as an intelligent race, and by TE 250 their world was granted Protectorate status under the supervision of the Schmidt Foundation.
