Psiamine
NAME: Psiamine
INDICATIONS:
• Psiamine is a fast-acting medication indicated to suppress
psionic abilities, particularly in young patients with
insufficient control of their abilities.
DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION:
• Dosage may vary and is usually between 0.5 and 1.0 units/
kg
• Emergency subcutaneous injection: For quickest response,
psiamine should be injected in the neck.
• Patches: Long-duration psiamine patches can be attached
anywhere on the body.
CONTRAINDICATIONS:
• Do not use in patients with hypersensitivity to psiactive
medications.
• Do not use in patients with compromised pituitary function.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:
• Severe, life-threatening, generalized allergy, including
anaphylaxis, may occur with all psiactive drugs, including
psiamine.
PEDIATRIC USE:
• Psiamine has been shown safe for in utero use as well as all
ages from birth.
