MARGARET “Peggy” E. MARSHALL
Peggy’s passion for geology and historical jewelry comes together in her collection of Scottish Pebble Jewelry. Peggy holds a B.S. Geology, University of Mary Washington and Graduate Seismology, George Washington University. She retired in 2014 after spending thirty-five years of scientific analysis for global nuclear monitoring and co-authoring 50 technical reports. Peggy has incorporated a historic preservation nonprofit, Marshall Hall Foundation, to restore a National Register historic property on the Potomac River. Marshall Hall (c.1725), built by ancestor Thomas Marshall, is managed by the National Park Service. Ms. Marshall was president of the Marshall Hall Foundation, and honorary regent of Stone Bridge Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. She served as president of Virginia Colony Chapter, National Society Colonial Dames 17th Century and the Vintage Ladies of Northern Virginia. Currently, she is on the Board of Directors of Little Big Dog Rescue.
