Upcoming deals: Upcoming appearances: Highlights: It's been a beautiful week; while Spring may not be here by the calendar, it came for a visit. As you can see, our crocuses are in full bloom. We also have plenty of daffodils, and the forsythia are just starting to bloom. In addition to the usual work, this week was bookended by two fun social events. On Sunday Thomas and I attended brunch with some of the folks I used to work with at the Brooklyn Park Library and their spouses. On Friday night we had dinner and a gaming session with some fannish friends. And of course, everyone is concerned about the virus that causes COVID-19. The United States is in a very difficult position, thanks to mismanagement and some terrible decisions regarding tresting. Without widespread testing, we are like a driver heading down a highway without windows, mirrors, or clocks. The only way we know what's going on is by the other cars we've sideswiped or totaled. It could be 3 in the morning, or it could be rush hour; the lane ahead may be clear, or there may be an oncoming truck. We simply do not know. It's a terrible way to cope with a pandemic. Projects:
