Two More Water Horse Reviews!

Two more lovely reviews for Water Horse! One from Analog (scroll down) and one from Tor.com.

I'm especially pleased that Analog picked it up in the context of world building, because world building is both something I personally enjoy — I love books that take me someplace that I could never have imagined before, and I love doing the world building for my own books. It's nice to see that recognized.

The Tor.com review touched on two things that made me particularly happy. First, Liz Bourke commented on how everything in the book tangles back to Esclin, who is the central character, and that was something I worked hard to make happen. Second, and perhaps more important, Bourke noted that she read Water Horse in an afternoon, "in a year in which I've frequently struggled to finish novels." That is praise I will cherish for a long time.
