Thomas and I saw Rise of the Guardians last night. Despite one minor flaw (Jack Frost kept his clothes on through the whole movie), it was great.

This movie was a bit of modern mythology, in the spirit of Neil Gaiman's tales of the Endless or Roger Zelazny's Amber series. Plus, the animation was terrific and the storyline engaging. Even though I figured out right away what Jack's center was, it didn't matter; I still cried when he discovered it.

Definitely worth seeing, and worth seeing on the big screen the first time.
