Don will be appearing at the Baltimore Book Festival on Friday, 28 September and Sunday, 30 September. Look for him at the SFWA booth.

On Friday at 1:00 Don will be on a panel with Jack McDevitt, Bud Sparhawk, and Tom Doyle discussing the various flavors of science fiction.

On Sunday at 1:00 pm is "Where Did That Come From?" a panel on which Don, Sara Beth Durst, Jack McDevitt, and Alethea Kontis will talk about their inspirations for various characters, plots, settings, and other weird ideas. This one is sure to be a lot of fun!

In between, Don will hang around the SFWA booth chatting, laughing, pontficating, and in general making a nuisance of himself. Come say hello.

Bring a print copy of one of Don's works (including issues of Analog containing his column) and he'll gladly deface it with his signature. Bring an e-reader with one of Don's works on it, and you can get a dandy authographed photo like the lucky fan below (click to embiggen). (Print readers can get a photo too; just ask.)

And if you have all of Don's e-books, you can even get an extra-special picture without Don in it. Much more attractive that way.

See you there!
